Simon Brooker, Chief Instructor at Mantis Urban Tactical Defense Center
Simon Brooker has been studying Martial Arts most of his life. He has studied with the best and spent most his time perfecting the Chinese system of Hop Gar Kung Fu. He has also studied Jui Jitsu with the Gracies and the Machado Brothers. Judo with Gene LeBelle, Bruce Lee's art of Jeet Kune Do with Bruce Lees best friend Richard Bustillo and Philipino Escrima with Cacoy Connete.
- Simon was a competitive swimmer and swam in the 1986 Exon National championships
- Simon has taught at the highest level including Children, adults, victims, celebrities, police forces, military and special forces.
- Simon was featured as the Martial arts expert on the 12 part TV series “Ultimate Warriors” and was the 2003 Action Martial Arts Hall of Fame award winner for outstanding achievements in the martial arts.
- Simon has been featured in many magazines and had my own column in Black belt called defending Violence.
Having successfully taught Simon began making products and perfecting services that could help in all aspects of defense training. Simon founded Immortal Creations Ltd. which designed and manufactured unique training equipment for all real Martial Arts and real Defense training. They won two national awards for their products and designs and was sponsored by many well known fighters including Middle weight UFC champion Dave Menae and legendary BJ Penn. He gained support from the likes of Royce Gracie (UFC Co founder) Dan the Beast Severn (only triple crown UFC champion) BJ Penn, Cynthia Rothrock, Don Wilson, Chris Kent, Richard Bustillo, Jean Claude Van Damme to name a few.
Simon has set up his martial arts, combat fitness, energy exercise chi gong, bully proofing center in Wadsworth, Ohio called URBAN TACTICAL DEFENSE, POWERED BY MANTIS
